With referral fees receiving increased attention across the industry and in the media, C.A.R. today has released several forms to help clarify and simplify disclosure requirements. Among the updated forms include the REALTOR® Acknowledgement and Disclosure Form (RAD). The revised RAD provides a standardized and transparent way to disclose referral-related compensation and other applicable disclosures.
To support members in understanding and using the revised forms, C.A.R. has created several new resources, including a Legal FAQ, several Quick Guides and Legal Live Webinar videos about referral fees and the RAD form. The FAQ explains when the form should be used, what information must be disclosed, and how the revisions align with current legal requirements.
